On
request, here is the drawing of the Dremel mount that I made to replace the original spindle mount. It is cut out of a 10 mm thick particle board.
A 56 mm long M4 screw and nut is used to press the upper mount together to fasten the Dremel. Nut should be placed on the left side. For more info and photo, see the
previous blog entry.

Hello to you,
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice of you that you shared the original drawings for your Dremel mount. I would like to know of your Dremel model, if I may. I have a Dremel 3000 and I wonder if this applies to my model.
Thanks!
The label on the front of my Dremel just says "Dremel Multi" and on the back it says "Mod. 395 Type 5 Code 32".
DeleteI have searched the web and found that the casing of Dremel 3000 look a little different from mine, so you may have to make some changes on the dimensions of the two holes to get good grip.
I have now shared my Sketchup drawing on 3D Warehouse (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=605134ea9921216ec9b6dd07f1479476) and it might help you to make the necessary changes.
